RewindNorwich is a reminiscent anthology of all things Norwich City; through stories, videos and imagery. We had a chat with Jamie, the founder of @RewindNorwich, to find out about his favourite football memories.
What inspired you to start RewindNorwich?
It’s the sort of thing I would follow and there wasn’t anyone else doing it. I love the videos from Sid Lambert, Crap90sFootball & Retrospective Punishment so I thought I’d try similar for Norwich. And I've gathered a lot of old footage over the years so I thought it was time they were shared.
Whats your favourite Norwich moment?
It's a tough one but probably getting promotion at Fratton Park in 2011. Closely followed by winning the Championship title at Villa Park in 2019.
What’s your favourite Norwich goal?
Andy Johnson's against Sheffield United in 1997. The most perfect goal-mouth scramble you've probably never seen.
Who’s your favourite Norwich player?
I grew up with a fondness for Darren Eadie but over the last ten years Wes Hoolahan has changed my mind. Here are some of Hoolahan's best bits:
Your favourite Norwich shirt?
This changes all the time but at the moment I'm quite enjoying the tartan away shirt from 1994 and the white/purple one from 1992.
Least favourite Norwich shirt?
I've never liked any of our ones sponsored by Flybe.
Favourite stadium snack?
I had a chicken curry pie at Bramall Lane once... it was top.
